Everest Poker was founded in 2005, and has steadily built a large European player base through effective and broad marketing strategies. As a result, Everest has become an attractive destination for many international internet poker players. With a newly added menu of options for games at higher stakes, Everest Poker has become a full service site for a variety of poker players.

Everest Poker Promotions
When a player begins at Everest, they are offered two bonuses exclusive to new players. The first is a substantial 200% bonus on your first deposit, for deposits up to $1000. This can give you up to $2000 in bonus credit, which players have 60 days to clear. Also, any deposit of at least $10 gives you two tokens for the monthly $5000 new player freeroll. For existing players, they offer a variety of guaranteed tournaments, step tournaments and a VIP program they call Summit Club.

Everest Poker Bonuses
For every dollar you contribute to the rake in a cash game or pay in tournament fees, you receive eight summit points. When you earn 80 summit points, $2.50 of bonus is unlocked for your account. This process continues until you unlock all of your bonus, or until 60 days have passed from the time of your deposit.

Everest Poker VIP Club
Furthermore, the rate at which you earn Summit Points determines your tier in the Summit Club. These tiers offer bonuses to another type of point you accumulate for use in the merchandise store or exchange for cash, and also unlock freerolls for players with guarantees up to $30,000 dollars. There are a lot of points flying around, and a lot of opportunities to receive added value for the time you spend at the tables.

Everest Poker Software
Everest Poker is offered in 16 major languages, which is a plus for the international clientele they have cultivated. The software also offers tutorials for people who are new to a particular card game, which is a plus for some people. However, for experts, the visual aesthetic of the table and the clunky game filter interface might be a turn off. Everest has taken steps recently to remedy these flaws by streamlining their filter section and improving the look of their tables, though. Another drawback is the lack of an iOS client or a web-based client. Windows users only need apply. The software is unique in that it offers a calendar to help schedule tournaments, and offers anonymous tables where your identity is hidden. This can be beneficial to people skeptical of others using information gathering HUD software to help their play.

Everest Poker Games
The games available at Everest vary from micro limit to high limits, much like any other poker site. They spread Hold ‘Em, Omaha, 7 Stud, Draw, HORSE, and Razz, as well as the Hi-Lo variants of these games. Traffic is generally consistent, and the overall level of play at Everest Poker is said to be quite soft, due to the influx of new players by virtue of their extensive marketing efforts.

Weekly Tournament Events
This is one area where Everest shines, due to the tournament viewing population that they attempt to recruit. There are daily GTD tournaments with a combined total of over 8 million dollars in payouts per month. The Sunday Special $175,000 is particularly attractive.

Rake at Everest Poker
The rake structure is pretty standard, ranging from a cap of four cents at the micro limit tables to five dollars at the upper limits. The structure appears to be unduly harsh at the micro limits when compared to other sites.

HUD Compatibility
Everest Poker is compatible with most every major HUD choice that players use today. However, there are anonymous table options which allow for the removal of this dynamic, and bugs have been reported using Hold’em Manager with both multi-table tournaments and Everest’s Speed Poker setup.
